Seems like everybody's tryna to start a fight these days while I’m just tryna have a conversation
But I’m not asking permission
Or begging forgiveness
For merely existing in public
And we are not defined by their words of hate,
But we’re sailing past the point of desperation so we’re not asking permission we’re out for vengeance
To take back rights that were stolen from us
Singing whoa Whoa They can’t kill us all
Whoa
They can’t kill us all Can’t kill us all
And now the housing prices rise again
We’ve been pushed out of living in the cities that we grew up in
But they need us more than we need them
Their system is dependent on complacency, consumption, and unmet needs to keep us going into work every morning
Their pockets full & the profits soaring and they use the police to do their bidding
To keep us divided and keep us from seeing that
Freedom in the streets Starts with unity
And not needing police starts with you and me
So if you fuck up I will still be your friend
Cause we need all of us to fight all of them
And if you fuck up I will still be your friend
Cause if we hate cops we can’t act like them
And if you fuck up I will still be your friend
What’s a human without flaws?
We used to be outlaws
And if we hate cops we can’t act like them
We can handle our business without their bullshit
And if you fuck up I will still be you friend
Cause we need all of us to fight all of them
And they can’t kill us all
No they can’t kill us all
Whoa, Whoa They can’t kill us all
Whoa, Whoa They can’t kill us all Can’t kill us all

I shot a gun today for the first time
I was surprised at how easy it was a man it made me feel so powerful I think I’m ready to start a revolution
we got elections coming up I don’t know who I wanna pick
a criminal or a racist pig it’s the same damn thing every couple years
I think it’s time to overthrow the government
so I was getting myself ready for the revolution getting myself ready for the revolution till I remembered I have work in the morning
the revolution will have to wait till after 5 PM I guess
spent the summer on the road
driving through the desert and mountains, sleeping on floors and couches
whoever said you needed money to travel didn’t have many friends
now I’m back in Pennsylvania sleeping until 11 AM my friends they call me lazy they just don’t get it
I’m dreaming up my plan for the revolution
so I’ve been getting myself ready for the cold cold winter getting myself ready for the cold cold winter
forgot to stop and watch leaves change color
watch them all fall down
I shot a gun today for the first time I was surprised at how easy it was
I think I’m gonna ask for one for Christmas, either that or a new guitar

bring your best, bring your brightest
we gotta be smart if we're gonna fight this
global threat has started rising, nuclear fallout is on the horizon
so grab a genius and start the crafting
we've already starting drafting the mentally ill and their moms
time to build an even bigger bomb
propaganda serves a purpose
a militia is useless unless they're nervous
trigger-happy, angry children
love to fight against a villain
so grab your best cops and your prisoners
promise freedom if they learn to serve
commies marching, we must stave them off
while we build an even bigger bomb
(10) it's our duty to protect
(9) all those who have less
(8) send them into battle
(7) stay in our castle
(6) it's our duty to protect
(5) however unfortunate
(4) this land we've stolen
(3) insurrection's growing
(2) it's not evil
(1) to bomb your people
build a bigger bomb

the apple on the branch is rotten to the core
this might be our only chance, they're rotten to the core
chew em up
spit out the seeds
and then burn what grows from the ground
they're mining our mountains for diamonds and coal
they're burning our trees and killing our souls
no love for my country will fill in the holes
i won't wait i'll live my life today
pick the apple, take a bite
try to get some sleep at night
strike a match, plow the field
pretend your fate's not already sealed
the pigs out on the street are rotten to the core
every senator you meet is rotten to the core
throw em out
start again
and let some light inside again

The violence of our oppressors is the last breath of a dying regime. Let's make that certain.
To honor all the dead we must stop this new Nakba. We will outlive them! They can't kill us all!
In a semi-frantic rush to release new music ahead of their Australia tour Nov 2023, Apes texted Moth, "Do ya'll have any unrecorded political songs?" and the split was born.
These songs are dedicated to the survivors of the Nudlieland shooting in Minneapolis, the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs, the people fighting to Stop Cop City from being built, the individuals fighting against genocide and apartheid in Palestine, and the members of our community that lost their lives to senseless violence in these struggles including but not limited to Tort & August.
If you wish to directly support Sister Wife Sex Strike you can purchase this split via their Bandcamp or donate to them directly on Venmo @sisterwifesexstrike
